Linda Stanley Sewell, USARS, SRSTA

Founder, Head Coach

Linda, the founder of ArtisticSkating.com, brings over 20 years of experience in teaching roller skating. Her journey in the sport spans her entire life, from competing as a young skater to her current role as a coach and mentor. Linda specializes in all disciplines of artistic skating, including dance, freedance, choreography, and musical styling. Her mission has always been to instill the love of movement with music, provide a challenging and satisfying physical outlet for people of all ages and abilities, and promote inclusion through the shared love of roller skating.

Kayla Burns, SRSTA

Sk8Arts Academy Instructor, RSA Competitive Coach

Kayla brings a wealth of competitive experience and a fresh perspective to the program. A standout competitor in the Eastern Region, she most recently earned 3rd place in Classic Freestyle at the 2025 Nationals in Reno, NV. Now retiring from the U.S. Army and beginning her university studies, Kayla is excited to step into her new role as a coach. We know she will inspire her students not only with her technical knowledge and skating ability, but also with her genuine love for skating and the joy she brings to the floor.

Kim McDowell, SRSTA

Learn-to-Skate Instructor

Kim excels at presenting basic skating skills in a concise, entertaining fashion. Her beginning students will have fun while learning the fundamentals of roller skating. Kim’s approachable teaching style makes her an excellent coach for those just starting their artistic roller skating journey.
