Sk8Groove Class: Intro to Contemporary Roller Dance

Intermediate

Sk8Artistic – Intro to Traditional Artistic Skating

This is an intermediate level class. Participants should be comfortable with forward skating, backward skating, basic turns, and one-foot balance to get the most from this class.

4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Build a strong technical foundation across multiple skating disciplines. This focused class develops the precise skills that create well-rounded, versatile artistic skaters.

• Master essential figure skating and dance techniques
• Develop precise edge control for clean, controlled movements
• Learn fundamentals of jumps and spins with proper technique
• Prepare for RSA Achievement Program success
• Become versatile across multiple skating disciplines

Pre-requisite: Skaters must either have completed El Centro Skate Rink’s Saturday Beginner Class (1:00 – 1:30 PM) or demonstrate skills beyond beginner level. Note: The Saturday class mentioned is run by El Centro Skate Rink, not ArtisticSkating.com.

PLEASE NOTE: This special Social Skate is hosted by Artistic Skating. There will be no snack bar or arcade service, but families are welcomed to bring light snacks if they are kept in the snack bar area.

This Social Skate is a learning-focused event, with our El Centro instructors on-hand to assist new skaters if needed. For that reason, we DO NOT offer the SkateMate Trainers during this time. Please see one of our instructors or an authorized Rolling Ambassador for help or assistance.
